Memorial Day Ceremony - Campbell Veterans Memorial Foundation
This event has already passed
The Campbell Veterans Memorial Foundation (CVMF) cordially invites you to help honor our deceased veterans and those who made the Ultimate Sacrifice in the service of our great Nation.
CVMF is proud to announce that it selected Ken Estep and his son Adam Estep as CVMF’s Co-Veterans of the Year 2023.
Sergeant Adam Estep served in the United States Army in Iraq; sadly, he was K.I.A. in April 2004. Adam is now an Honorary CVMF Board Member. Adam’s father, Ken Estep, is a Founding Board Member and still serves in that capacity.
The ceremony will be conducted on Monday, May 29, 2023, at the Orchard City Green, Campbell City Hall, at 9 AM.
Salutations and commendations will be conducted by these Keynote Speakers:
Major General Miles A. Davis
Commanding General, 63rd Readiness Division
Maj. Gen. Miles Davis assumed the role as the Commanding General of the 63rd Readiness Division located in Mountain View, California, on November 5, 2021. As the commanding general of 63rd Readiness Division, his area of responsibility is the seven-southwestern states of the U.S.
The Honorable Anne Bybee
Mayor of Campbell
Honoring our veterans will include cherished activities such as a 21 Gun Salute by American Legion Post 99 and a bagpipe rendition of Taps by the Jr. ROTC Group. Guests are also invited to honor their beloved veterans by placing a flower in their name on CVMF’s traditional Memorial Day Wreath.
