Slowfiber presents an Upcycle Dress Shirt Conversion Workshop taught by Patti on Saturday, May 17, 12:30pm-5pm. Fee is $85 - register on Slowfiber's website.

You must be able to use a sewing machine to participate in this workshop.

About the Workshop

In this workshop, we'll take a men's dress shirt and make it into a unique and feminine art-shirt that's all about you. Bring your sewing machine and an open mind and then follow Patti with a new collar treatment, contrasting fabrics, and a spill of unmatched buttons for good measure.

Along with machine sewing there will be handwork like sashiko stitching, embroidery, and new, fun buttons. Show up with a wish and a loose idea of what you want to do with your shirt and then let the Slowfiber hive mind and Patti help you expand your possibilities.
