Christmas in the Adobes is Monterey's signature holiday event. Held this year on December 10 & 11, 5pm-9pm, it features 15 beautifully decorated historic adobes for you to visit on foot. Staff and volunteers dressed in period attire greet visitors, with many venues offering music and entertainment. Proceeds benefit Monterey State Historic Park children's educational and school history programs.

Tickets may be purchased online or in person at the Custom House Store at 1 Custom House Plaza (open Thu-Sun, 11am-3pm) or the Pacific House Store at 20 Custom House Plaza (open Tue-Sun, 10am-4pm). Tickets are $25 per night for adults, $2 for children ages 6-17 when accompanied by a paying adult, and free for children age 5 and under. A two-night Gold Pass is $40. Tickets for active military are $20 per person, and must be purchased in-person.

On event nights, ticket sales and will call are available at Pacific House on Custom House Plaza (for cash and credit card sales) and at Casa Gutierrez at 590 Calle Principal and Stevenson House at 530 Houston Street (for credit card sales only). Tickets are non-refundable.

Event-goers will receive an event program that describes each venue with a map to assist in plotting your course. Join the many Monterey Peninsula locals who ring in the holidays at this annual city-wide event!
